OUCH!!! I am in so much....

PAIN!!!! I can't remember the last time my back hurt so much...well yes I can. It was October 31, 1998...I was pregnant with Nichole and she was "sitting" wrong. So it's been a while...but I don't like it...too much to do to feel like this. It started Sunday...and this is Wednesday. I have done the very minimal, but I feel so guilty for that. Today I am going to "catch up" on all the eerands that I have not done. What makes this week even more exasperating is it's Spring Break for the kids & we are not able to do anything "fun". I am hoping that we can maybe get away on Saturday for a day, but that remains to be seen. I wish I had something more to really talk about today, but I have no energy & to be honest, not a whole lot to talk about. I need to be focusing on the last hour of the show & I'm still having trouble focusing today because of the pain. I just hope I can work tonight...hhhmmmmm....maybe, maybe not. ~Peace ...

I guess I should...

Do a quick catch up. I have pictures on my Facebook of when my boys went to help rake the yard of Amnity House last week for a mission trip & I have some photo's posted from the VOTA, Stellar Kart, Barlow Girl concert from last Sunday. I have not learned how to get photos on my blog yet, but I will. Today has already been full & it's not even 9am yet! Finished up with getting my letters preped and I'm ready for my BNI meetings today! I'm excited about all the new people that I'm going to meet. I do miss Bart though...it's just not the same w/o him on the air ): I'm taking the kids to the circus tonight...that ought to be fun...I'll let you know. I have not been to a circus in over a decade...if not longer so I'm not sure what to expect, but as long as the kids have fun I suppose that is all that matters. Well have yourself a wonderful & blessed day! ~Peace & Blessings~ Jen

Blessings Abound...

and at every turn! The past couple of days have been just amazing. Let's start where I left off... Saturday...Nichole, my daughter had to be across town to get on a bus @ 0630. She went to a 4H Project Achievement competition. She came in 2ND place in the category of Public Speaking! I am so proud of her. My boys went to Amity House to rake leaves for the families that are staying there for a mission project with their karate group. That was so great for them to do & I am so proud of them for working together for the Glory of God. Sunday...was a wonderful day of worship all across the board. I enjoyed leading worship at Emanuel UMC and after service the family and I went to a going away lunch for my friend Greg and the mission team getting ready to go back down to Haiti. That was so nice to be able to spend time with friends that are following God's will for their life. Afterwards it was off to a great concert with VOTA, Stellar Kart & Barlow Girl. It was so great to be...

It's been a week...

I laugh at my week & say, please be over soon!!!! Yes it's been a very long and exhausting week. Shall I back up to Sunday? Yes, lets. Sunday, Thomas came home 30 minutes before it was time for church with a busted eye! See...what had happen was...he was at his friends house, across the street, playing basketball. The ball got stuck up on the rim and so Thomas was climbing up to get it. Well his friend was throwing rocks to try to "loosen" the basketball and WHAM the rock hit his eye! Broken blood vessels and a torn membrane (I found that out on Tuesday afternoon). So we went to church and then tried to nurse the eye. Monday...the eye (and leg) were in pain pain PAIN! Thankfully the kids were out of school. I did leave them with my friend for about 90 minutes so I could go to the station to meet up with MIKESCHAIR. They were in the area and stopped in to do a quick interview & have lunch. That was just such a great time. I have grown to really enjoy my friendship ...

I am so...

thankful & ready for the weekend! Yesterday turned out to be a very long day with two BNI meetings & then with what seemed to be endless homwork...wasn't really...it just seemed like it. There was a bit of a breakthrough at my house last night as well, but that is something I will talk about at a later time. I do ask that you pray for my family, though. Today is full of fun stuff...I am almost done with air shift & then I am going in to track for Sunday. After...I'm meeting up with a couple of businesses to discuss underwriting. I am praying that we are able to connect with 2 new businesses this month and get them started! Afterwards...I am getting the kids +1 and if the weather cooperates...we are going roller skating tonight. This weekend will go fast, but I know it will be filled with great opprotunities to share the love and salvation that only comes from having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ...I pray that I am able to be bold. Hope that you have a go...

Information overload...

in this blog...sorry! OK so it's been a very busy week, but so rewarding! Instead of overwhelming you with details I will summerize the best I can. Tuesday was 90.7 WAY Radio's Friend Raiser. We started @ 0630 and our goal for the day was $15,000. We reached our goal by 1230 & we were just amazed by God's provision through our listeners! So we set a new goal...the goal that we were going to wait to put out in the fall. Our overall goal for the year is 30,000, that is what we need to be independant from our sister staion (that still helps us financially). By 1830 Tuesday...our listeners pleged just over $25,000!!!! How awesome and amazing & to be honest I was in complete awe. So that was Tuesday...yesterday was a day that I was still in a daze. I don't think I really got anything accomplished, but I know I did. I have to tell you though, that God really blessed our family! We were waiting for a job to come through & it did & I am just once again in awe. I...

Monday's meal...

is a delicious crock pot dinner sent to me by Susanna. The dish is a hit with the whole family & is so easy to make for a busy family. You will need... 2-3 lbs Skinless/Boneless Chicken - cut of your choice 1 can of corn 1 can of black beans - or kidney beans...your choice 1 jar of salsa - we love the bean & corn salsa 8 oz of Cream Cheese Put frozen chicken in the crock pot Drain the corn & the beans Add the Salsa Cook on low for 4 hours 30 minutes before serving add cream cheese and stir until melted. Serve over rice or cornbread...both are a winner! ~Peace & Blessings~ Jen

So what is there...

to blog about? I'm not real sure. Yesterday was routine and very uneventful. I am thankful for that, because those days don't come very often. I am slowly checking off my "get it down NOW" list. There's so many little things that I just don't seem to get done that I am determined to do this month. I will feel very accomplished if I do. So how is it that there seems to be so much to do, yet I find that I have so much time on my hands? Maybe because everyone stops working by 5 or maybe because I stop everything when I get my kids from school. Well for whatever reason...I will get things done this month - this is the time! Thanks for day Lord and than you for all the answered prayers. ~Peace & Blessings~ Jen

So it's the start...

of a new week and a new month, and March started off with a BANG!! When I got in this morning I found out that our server was down for the station. That made for an interesting show...how do you send people to a web site that they can't get onto? Simple... you tell them the server is down & to keep on trying! We had a great time today with the show overall. I was able to get some clothes, DVD's, and kid's books over to the Ministry Center today. I've only been needing to do that for about 3 months now. Timing is everything! I still have 2 bins and 2 bags worth of items to take over to the Ministry Center...and there is still more...how does all this "STUFF" get into my house? Well while there I got to spend quality time with my friend Brooke who works there. She so uplifted me today and I really needed that...again, timing is everything! Unfortantly my husband was home sick today. Looks like the stomach bug has wormed its way into my house...that is not a ...
